Awards and membership

Bloodlink Foundation once again emerged winner of PRSK Campaign of the year award (Non-profit category) at the Public Relations Society of Kenya , Annual Gala dinner and awards ceremony held on 28th November 2008. Bloodlink Foundation has won the award for the last four consecutive years and beat National AIDS Control Council to second place during this years awards. The award was in recognition of the universities blood donation campaign where Bloodlink has partnered with over eight different student groups to conduct blood drives at public and private universities. Over 5,000 units of blood have been collected thisyear through this program.

In May 2008, at the GSK-MEAP competition - Lucozade Bloodline Campaign was crowned the "best original idea” in the Middle East, Africa and Pakistan (MEAP) competition.

Bloodlink Foundation is a member of the African Society on Blood Transfusion (AfSBT) and the Association of Donor Recruitment Professionals (ADRP) and is represented at the Kenya Association of Fundraising Professionals.
