Corporate Partnerships

In our mandate to work with corporate bodies, we have adapted different approaches for effective mobilization.

To ensure sufficient safe blood we have partnered with the private sector in mobilizing local resources to recruit blood donors. Bloodlink Foundation has forged partnerships with corporate organizations, Safaricom and GlaxoSmithKline towards support of the Blood Donor Program through committing their resources.

The most recent partnership is with Telkom Kenya Ltd. The partnership between Telkom Kenya and Bloodlink Foundation is in support of university drives in 18 campuses across the year, the World Blood Donor Day on 14th June 2009, corporate blood drives at selected Telkom Kenya branches country wide.

The partnership is to the tune of Kshs 4.2 Million in support of blood donation programmes, which will help address a 40% blood shortage in Kenya.
